Should I Stay or Should I Go? – Part 2
Bible Passage: Philippians 1:21-26
In part 1, Pastor Paul began with the powerful story of John Patten, a missionary in the 1800s from Scotland, who left everything to do dangerous and costly gospel ministry among cannibals in the New Hebrides Islands.
The apostle Paul also did dangerous gospel ministry among hostile people, and he suffered greatly for the sake of Christ. He was driven to fully honor Jesus, and proclaim the gospel, regardless of the personal cost, because for Paul, “to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”
