Conflict is inevitable because we’re sinners living in a fallen world. But significant unresolved conflict with others can cause serious problems not only in our personal lives but also in our churches. Many church splits have happened because of poorly handled conflict situations. And conflict is absolutely incompatible with gospel values. That’s why God is so adamant about peacemaking among the brethren.
